I love my little flip pal, it is tiny enough to go with me anywhere and yet powerful enough to capture the beauty of the photos I scan. I keep it near my laptop at all times, as a busy mom of 4 kids, working from home and homeschooling, this gadget has really been a plus. Takes less than a minute to scan any picture, and have on my laptop for the my Genealogy Project. I scanned this photo of my Grandparents at my Great Grandparents house around 1949 last fall while I was visiting my Aunt. The photo is 63 years old, my Aunt is the adorable baby in this photo. The scan was great, but the photo had been damaged a lot. After using Photo Elements 10 I was able to clear it up a lot to see the faces and even photos in the background. When handling old photos be sure to use Archival Methods White Nylon Gloves Medium, Package of 12, it helps avoid finger prints as the ones shown in the after edit. I also use Verbatim 96319 700 MB 52x UltraLife Archival Grade Gold Recordable Disc CD-R, 5-Disc Jewel Case to store my finished photos. Archival CDs and DVDs last longer because they are made of Gold.

Above Before Left to Right, Pat, Dave Kistle, Ula Akin Durbin, Baby Theresa, Raymond Durbin, Ola Tryon(Grandma) and Elmer Joseph (June) Tryon.
